  • “The world is diseased with discontent, and Christians are often infected.”

  • “A satisfied heart should be the experience of every believer because God promises to satisfy us with everything we need.”

  • “Contentment is a believing response to the Word of God, and the promises therein.”

  • Our mindset should be, “I am content with what God has brought about in my life. I don’t want anything different. I don’t want anything more than what He wants to give me.”

Sept 22: Full but Forgetful

  • Uncertainty in a godless society can cause discontentment. Discontentment can lead through anxiety, through fear, until ultimately it can cause the loss of our joy as believers. But the truth we must hold to is this: God alone satisfies the human heart.
