Our Purpose

Exalt the King

We believe the Biblical purpose of the local Church is to glorify God.

“Therefore, whether you eat, or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” I Corinthians 10:31

Expand the Kingdom

Another Biblical purpose of the local Church is to carry out the Great Commission, given to us by Christ:

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. ‘ Amen” Matthew 28:18-20

This means winning people to Christ (make disciples), Identifying them with the local church (baptizing them) and discipling them to follow Christ (teaching them).

We partner with domestic and global missionaries to support the spread of the gospel.

Equip the Saints

“And He himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.” Ephesians 4:11-12

We want to develop spiritual maturity with each individual (equipping the saints) in order to prepare them for the ministry (the work of the ministry), to aid in the spiritual development of the whole body (edifying of the body of Christ).
